White Mite (Oops, forgot the most important question)

ithereal Apr 21, 2004 02:59 PM

I've see a white mite (or what looks like one) crawl across Ithereal's face. It is definitely white (not brown or black). Is this something to be concerned about? Possibly from the bark?

Any advice on how to ensure that he doesn't get mites?

I had a problem like that in my ringneck snake's tank. I don't know if they were mites, but they were little white bugs that you could see moving around when I lifted up rocks in the tank. If these are the same thing that you have, all my snake's hiding spots were from outside, which is how the little bugs got into my snake tank, if your snake's log was from outside, that's how they got in.
