Venomous Snake Permits

crocodileKris Apr 21, 2004 04:55 PM

I was wondering if any one could help me out. I have been seaching around and asking everyone I could about how to apply to get a venom permit. I live in Colorado and was wondering if someone could help me out to figure out how to apply and if there is anywhere or some place I could volunteer to help it out some more because I know it is hard to get one.
Thanks
Kris

Kris you have to proove experiance with venomous snakes and prove that you will either profit from them, or use them as a learning aid. The permit costs $150 a year i think, and i think there is also an initial application fee. I think thats it i could find it exactly if you want me to.

Thanks, I was also wondering if you know any places to volunteer to show my experience with venomous snakes, so I can prove when I try to get the permit.
