Geckos not eating!! help!

BNickley Apr 21, 2004 06:20 PM

Hello,

I purchased three leo's online about a week ago. I have the two females in a twenty gallon tank and the male in a ten. In both the tanks i have at least one hide box, a water bowl and a meal worm/supplement bowl. There temperaters are at about 92 on the hot side and 78 on the cool side. Everything looks fine except my geckos have still not begun to eat. I have tried crickets and super worms but still they wont eat. I know they are not eating meal worms from there bowls because they have no deficicated in several days. They are however drinking water just fine. Does anyone know what i can do to get them to eat???

Thank you,
Ben

alot of leos will not eat from a dish. try dropping the mealie in front of your leo. also, most leos will only eat it if they see it move.

good luck

I would give them a week to two weeks at the very most to get used to their new environment. just be patient and if they don't eat after two weeks take them to a vet.
