hey I noticed you were in Salem I live down in eugene, kinda cool. I had a question on geyri, I have been looking into getting some Uro's but thinking I might want something bigger than geyri so thought I would ask your opinion of them. I would love to see some of your set ups and suggestions.

Hi!

I love Eugene - I used to live there and may move back someday. I'm there about every other weekend.

If you would like to meet up sometime, send me a private email and we can arrange it.

As far as Geyri go, as it has been discussed a lot on the forum recently, they can be very difficult to acclimate. My male was a WC from Doug Dix and I still nearly lost him in the beginning. Malis are a little larger and are supposedly much easier to acclimate. My Malis were long term captive (if not CB - I don't know their origin), but they are a breeze compared to my Saharans even now.

I don't have any photos of my setups currently. And I'm in process in building a new enclosure for the Malis. The lizard room is a wreck!

yeah, my wife is in the no more lizards stage. I finally convinced her of 1 bearded dragon back in november, and now have 4 with one gravid!! I would love to get some uro's so I can be done with live prey, and I would like to work on breeding something that isn't done too much to do my part to slow/stop imports. We just bought a new house and are formal dining romm is the lizard room. I will try to get some pics up tonight if I can get a new camera.
