Ok, I live near edmonton alberta. Does anyone know any types of traps that would be able to catch salamanders? Catch them but not harm them. I heard you could dig a hole and place a bucket in it, the salamanders will fall into it, iv tried it but theres been not much luck, but its probably too early. anyway, what would be a good area for placing these buckets? behind my house there is a farmers field and down the road theres a pond which has quite a bit of frogs in it.
Anyone know a way of attracting them or catching them? and where can i find them?
