Why So Skinny?!

smith710 Apr 21, 2004 07:55 PM

I have two leopard geckos they eat alot. Both of the geckos have good size tails for their age but one of their bodies are alot thiner than the other. The oldest one is the thinist one they are only about 2 or 3 weeks apart. They are only about 4 months old so they can't be pregnant or anything like that. I would send a picture but it doesnt really show that too well. Could there be anything wrong or is it normal?
Thank you

Look at his/her tail if it isnt loseing fatness or mass then i wouldnt worry about it, another place to look is at his back legs if they look skinny then i would split them up and sort of keep an eye on him/her and just feed him/her more food (fatten him/her back up)
P.S. him/ her gets old lol wat is him/her sex ?
Hope this helps!!

Fat tails = fat geckos.
Being round in the middle is something I associate with female geckos, more than males. My mail is also somewhat slim in the midsection.
