I've been looking for a female crested for my male. I want to try to breed them and see how lucky I am. Does any one know where I can buy a decent priced female at? ($35-50).. I've had no luck finding any.

Sorry, I know that is not what you were looking for. The thing is that most females are kept back for breeding. Then if they are available, the price will be twice what you are looking to spend most likely. The only thing that I can really suggest for you is that you purchase a juvinile crestie, and hope that you have a female. If you dont, sell or trade for another juvinile until you do. If the time frame is not going to work for you, then you will need to purchase a female which are available online often, but at a price.

Do you go to any local reptile expos? That may be your best chance. Check Kingsnake's Upcoming Events section to see if anything is near you. Last month at the expo in my home state, there were a few adult females. I had one guy all the way down to $70 for a gorgeous green adult female! But I was there to buy a cage for my boa, so i grudgingly had to refuse. If she's still there this month though...
