i have a female burm and shes a year old and she hasnt grown much with me she is about 3 feet and is in a cage that is 5'x4'3 and eats 2 mice a week can someone help me?

i have had burms in the past. they each are different and grow at different speeds.
2 mice a week dose your snake seem then or always looking for food couse it may be parasites take it to your herp vet but it might just be the way it is i used to have a burm that only grew 4 feet its first yaer then 2feet the next then then grew another 4 the next so it all depends on the snake but take it to the vet and see what they say
Although this snake appears to be very small, genetics will play a role in overall growth. You didn't mentione the temps you keep this snake at (or the humidity levels); those are important factors.
Also, you are feeding mice.....I can almost guarantee you if you can switch this snake over to rats (and at 3', you should have no problem feeding small or perhaps even medium sized rats; perhaps one small or med. rat every 7 days initially and then bump it up to two rats every 7-10 days after a few months), you will see a much faster growing snake. Two mice a week for a 3' burm is not an optimal diet. Rob
