what is the minimum tank size for two cresties??????????????????????

With a couple of juvies you can go real small, 5-10 gallon. Rather than buying a bigger one later when they mature, you might want to start with at least 20 gallons. Also try to make sure that it is a decent height for them to climb.

I think that a 20 for Juvies is too big. One thing that you have to keep in mind is that Cresteds are not really vorocious at hunting down food. You will find that they have a hard time finding food in a cage that large while they are young. I would suggest a 10 gallon for a few months and then move them into a 20 when they are really growing and eating well...and have a little more size to them.

Actually, a 10G was too big for my baby! He had the hardest time finding crix, even when I put them into a cup for him! I moved him into a small "critter keeper" for a while, and he was devouring the crix then! So maybe you want to consider a medium sized critter keeper or something similar if they still have trouble even in the 10G. They don't seem to be very active, even at night. Maybe its just my cresty, but he seems pretty content to just sit still, look around for about a half hour, then move a couple inches, look around, etc. So I am more concerned right now about making sure he finds his food rather than worrying about him having lots of play space. Hope this helps.
