i recently caught a w. fence lizard and it will NOT eat. the only way i can get it to eat, the only way it will is if it hisses i stuff a cricket in its mouth then it scarfes it down. whats wrong with it?

It is stressed out and needs to be released. wc animals are sometimes not meant to be kept. If he is not eating he needs to be let go where he was found. Forcefeeding the miserable little animal will do no good because he will eventully wither and die regardless. He just needs to be returned to his home. To not do so would be selfish...

i dont know, it still looks fat and its crickets in its cage are a lower number. i want to release it this saturday in ellensberg.
