I have a pic of what your looking for but I'm not at home right now (working). When I get home I'll see if I can find the source of the pic. It's really a cool color. The red stripes on its head appear almost green. I'll be home at 7:30 AM CST.

Is this close to what you were asking about?

arik Apr 22, 2004 07:40 AM

Since I had this pic on my 'puter for a long time I couldn't find the source for you. Also I can't give credit to the owners. If this is your pic....sorry.
It's 7:30 AM.....no it's my turn for a beer or two.lol
Hey Eunectes, ever get that article in reptiles for me?
I'm going to kill the wabbit today and try feeding that horse sized thing to my snake. Wish me luck.

Will do.
Hey, I tried to feed that huge rabbit I got to my snake 9 1/2' and before I could whack it(I opened the unoccupied side of the cage), she came over and bit the hell out of the rabbit. Only problem is she didn't kill it. She just broke it's back leg. Now I have a snake, in stalking mode, in the water but she will only sniff the rabbit. No amount of me shaking the rabbit will get a strike. How long do you think before trying a smaller rabbbit? Since she's only eaten live food I'm thinking a couple jumbo rats alive might be a good way to get her back into eating.
She's only eaten one other small rabbit(live). Should I try switching back to rats to make her feel more secure?
I dont need to hear a bunch of crap about feeding live food though, when i got her she wasn't feeding. I got her on live quail, then live quail scented rats, then jumbo rats, then finally, a week and a half ago, A 1 1/5 - 2 # rabbit. Whatever she's eating right now is fine by me. I do know I need to make the switch to p/k, and I was trying today but.....
Any advice?

I found this at http://markmlucas.com/Boa South Gallery.htm ..I don't know if that is what you want but i called this guy about it and it was a wild caught male that already sold..it was actually only sold for 2400 but who knows if it was genetic.

MR_ANACONDA28 Apr 22, 2004 02:26 PM

That is such a awsome looking snake, and a wild caught color morph at that. $2400 I'd have to give that for him.Thanx guys,---Eric---
