I was wondering of Crested Geckos retain sperm. Many other lizards which are fertilized only once can produce several fertile clutches. Is this true with Crestys? This is the first year I have bred my Crested group and I would prefer to remove "captain horndog" (the male) if possible before he stresses out the ladys. However I would like to get a few descent clutches first. Anybody know for sure?

You can usually get 6-10 clutches even if you remove the male.
One way to do it is keep males and females apart, leave them in with each other a couple of weeks or until you get your first eggs. Them apart. some people will re-introduce the male 4-6 months later to keep from loosing fertilization rates.
I prefer to get what I can from one introduction, and then giving the female a 3 month break from her last clutch before intruducing the male again.
