I know that Green Iguanas are Thermoregulators, but I was wondering, can I have a air conditioner in my room? I don't want my Green Iguana to get too cold. Also, how many basking sites should I have and where should they be located?

as long as your iguana is in its own cage and has the right temps in there than there is no reason why you cant have an air conditioner in your room. but if you are going to have it free roam(which i dont suggest unless it is big enogh not to get lost.) the number of basking sites depend on how big the cage is and how many it takes to keep the temps right. they should be located up high so your iguana can feel safe. they feel safer up high.
