i need to know what is an ideal size tub for kingsnakes. i'm building a rack for kings/milks and want to know what everyone else uses or thinks is a good size tub. if possible please tell me either qt. size or dimensions of tubs (or both). thanks

I used to keep a group of Florida Kings separately in rubbermaid 28 qt. boxes (floor area of about 20x14). That turned out to not be nearly enough room.

But if your not keeping anything larger than a typical California Kingsnake then a 28 or 32 qt. rack would probably work.

If you do build such a rack make it so the large boxes slide in width-wise. That way you can place two of the half-sized boxes side for side for subadults or smaller milksnakes.
