Well, last nite I get home from work, and I open the door, and there is a stench in the house that I couldnt identify.
So I walk to the kitchen and nothing, I go in to the snake room to find Kimba's cage empty, the lid open and a half digested jumbo rat hanging from the shelf. I freak and look around for her, following her path of destruction, and I find her in the living room having a drink with the fish tank. So I pick her up and see if she has any battle wounds from the escape, and find where she pushed her body against the lamp plug that was unplugged. two little | | marks on her belly, but no other damage.
I then cleaned out her cage and retched a bit from the stench... vicks vapor rub under the nose works great...
Well, she now knows the way out of the cage so its reinforced and weighed down, and she's okay..
Could the excitment and/or stress of the break out cause her to regurge? And should I wait till next feed day (2 weeks away) or try again??
