3 quick questions...

Is it absolutely necessary to worm U. phantasticus if routine spot cleaning an substrate cleaning is maintained? Also, I have heard that male "phants" have low sex drives, and from another source I have read that it can take up to 2 years before they are ready to breed. Is this the truth and what can be done about it if so? Finally, what infraorder of Uroplatus is U. pietschmanni described under (just curious)?
Thanks!
Ashton

I don't know what infraorder means but in regard to U. pietschmanni i think they most closly resemble U.guenthri. You can see how closly they look alike with this picture of guenthri.

as far as the low sex drive, i would only imagine that they'd be too stressed to do it after first getting them, then after settling everything would be ok. i got my male last summer a month before i got my female, and by the time i dropped my female in, i noticed them breeding after what seemed like no time at all. thenagain this was my only pair of adult phantasticus i had until now.
