Well, my success breeding blood pythons was so dismal last year that I decided to try caging a couple of pairs together year round. I must say, though, I wasn’t expecting to see copulation until next autumn or winter. Imagine my surprise today when I checked on one of the pairs which had crammed into one of their hide containers. So now I know that they’re not particular about time of year. But should I actually expect to get eggs at any time other than the “normal” season? Do any of you have reproductive success from males and females of any python species caged together all year?
Thanks,
Joan

Just seeing their tails pressed together is not proof enough of success. Call me kinky, but I’ve just got to have more evidence.
