Yes it is ok that it bit the dead mouse a few times to find the head..yes it is ok it didn't constrict it..it is actually better for you...if it is dead it doesnt need to constrict it. yes that is the same kelly haller. no mark o'shea is not in here...but Renee responds and it is the best source for wild anaconda behavior and data you will ever find...I don't know what you consider famous...These are all people with different levels of experience with anacondas...I guess Renee would be the most famous in the anaconda world and Kelly is the most reputable breeder of greens...(I don't know you background dfr but I will say you are one smart dude). Mark Petros occasionally will make a post or so (I think because I told him to check out what we were saying). But he is the best yellow anaconda breeder i have ever seen. The worlds first granite anacondas. You found the right forum if you have developed a new interest in anacondas.

Be sure and post a photo when the big day arrives. And don't take any of your snakes into the maternity ward...for some bizarre reason the nurses get a bit touchy about that.

or else inhaling too many glue fumes while buidling all those new cages...

Yes, I go by many names that I've been called, but I can't repeat most of them here, since this is a G rated forum...

` Don't fight it, Renee. You're great. What other snake expert could say, " Living with snakes basically stinks" , mean it , and be respected for it? LOL

` However, I believe he'd act sleep deprived even with plenty of sleep.

Oh, NO - you don't actually REMEMBER that embarrassing interview?!...I was joking around with filmakers that had been following us EVERY day for 3 months...after that long, you just aren't hanging out spewing interesting anaconda facts every few minutes, much to the filmakers dismay.

At least they were my friends...another time we were being filmed for a Discovery channel stint, and the Italian director - who was phobic of snakes - told my partner, via walkie-talkie, that they were doing a long distance panning shot of us walking through the swamp, and, well, to tell Renee that she is "smiling way too much - these are anacondas, she should be very afraid!" (I am, after all, short, and female, therefore I should be very afraid. Of course. I'm terrified.)

Renee
