i just read the post telling me to get rid of girlfriend rather than 2 beardys...lol..i would but shes gorgeous and im not getting any younger...so ive started already..i had to buy her couch so she would let me get this vivarium...so today i bought paint and said i will paint living room and dining room...then told her we may need another viv...went down like a ton of bricks...but by supper tonight she was like ok if its for the animals sake..so guys how long before i have to seperate them??????as at the moment they all sleep on top of each other in the tree...there best of buddies...and could i get away with a 3ft long viv??????????? cheers

The more experienced will give you answers about the viv; but I have decades of experience with various men and I can tell you now that it is very difficult to change others. I am glad she is gorgeous and makes you happy; I bet your mom always told you that beauty comes from within and I believe that to be true. A new couch is nice, but if you have had to buy a new couch in order to have your lizards that is blackmail.

hhmm..its a counselling forum now..lol. but isnt that the way the world works...we dont go in for your partner is your best friend etc in scotland..the boys do boy things girls do girly things...we arent joined at the hip like alot of you guys.my 3 usa girlfriends all wanted to spend everyday with me...(which is nice if thats what you want)..i found my newyork girlfriend wanted to anaylise everything..instead of just bloody getting on with it.everyone i know bribes there missus in one way or another to get what they want,my mate bought his girl a brand new car so he wouldnt have to go shopping on saturdays..lmao.i draw the line at couch.bribe or not it works..shes happy im happy...and beardys get new viv...everyones a winner bobs your uncle...as for looks well if i could find a girl that loved animals then i wouldnt mind if she had 3 eyes i would be happy..unfortunatly not too many girls want pets messing there nice homes..gnite im off my soap box and off to think of what else i can offer her for a rack system with 3 vivs...lmao

You should come to Texas. Most of my girl friends here are goo-goo over animals. I have one friend who has 3 dogs, 12 cats, a snake, a fish, and god knows what else I've forgotten.

haha..you got loads..your my type of woman...must be a full time job though just caring for them...i actually only work part time when my [bleep]es are in whelp etc(i mean female dogs )as it gets very time comsuming

He works days I work nights so we very seldom see each other but there is usually someone home at all times

getting rid of her won't work maybe you could get a couple vivs coat them with some material and convince her that they are foot stools for the new couch. Sorry that I can't answer your question on the beardies I just got my first one myself here a while back.

I kind of have the same thing going on from time to time, as Braveheart, with my Hubby !

There are things we share, but there are other hobbies or enjoyments, that we respect and admire about the other, but don't share in, so to speak , :0)

He loves guitars, amps, electronic equipment, speakers.....

I LOVE CRITTERS ! All CRITTERS ! Mess, yeah sometimes, but I take care of it !

He just spend alot for surround sound in our living room, I let him off easy , I got a pair of agamas, LOL

It's fun, hey its not cheating, or drugs, something bad, its allowing each other to have what they enjoy,

Remind your girlfriend just how wonderful she is for making sacrifices to keep you happy. And let her know that's one of the things that make you love her so much. Great relationships come from understanding(or at least tolerating) each others interests.
I can see a new reptile coming out of this. Along with the vivarium and complete set-up.
