IS IT SAFE TO MIX ADULT ROUGH GREEN SNAKES WITH BABY ROUGH GREEN SNAKES?

caecilianman02 Apr 22, 2004 06:46 PM

I own many spacious vivariums, one in which I keep a baby rough green snake. He was about 3 inches in length when I bought him, captive-bred, and is now about 7- 7 1/2 inches in length. He recently went through a huge growth spurt. I have had him about a year and 1/2 now. I bought an adult rough green snake at the same store, he lived for a few years and died, I bought the baby, and now they have adults again. Would it be all right to mix a long yet unbelievably slender adult with the other one?

No. Parasites, disease, stress, etc. If you have so many spacious tanks, just put it in another one.
