Has anyone tried trempers technique of keeping females at a low temperature and then raising them after 20 days for better color?

YES! And to sum it all up, my nicest looking female came out deformed...and died a few days later.
Its a risky method, I wouldnt use it again, personally. If you want better color..buy better breeders, IMO. Id rather breed for color, than to incubate for color.
Im sure alot of people can tell you the same thing about the risks involved.
