Can somebody help me out with info and identifying this frog

zuesfrog Apr 22, 2004 07:53 PM

I got this guy at the pet store the other day. He was identified as a golden Tree frog but frankly i'm not sure because i have not found any reference to it anywhere in research. Can somebody please help me identify it and perhaps give me some more info on it.. thanks.

well for me the most obvious thing is when the male croaks... n even if they dun I've observe that when they actually breath or move their throat u can actually see a sac... apart from that I guess its the size... males shld be smaller I think... I'm still trying to get somemore females, but work is not enabling me to find them at the hill behind my house... argh! Apart from that they're pretty easy treefrogs to keep, feeds readily on crix or hoppers, breeds easy too, n relatively quite hardy, I have a pair for almost 2 yrs now...
