Pacman age??? Anyone Know????

tink Apr 22, 2004 08:57 PM

How long is it before a pacman reaches full adult size. I have only had her about a week and she very small. . maybe just over an inch (I say her but have no idea really). Would any know how old a pacman this size would be? I'm guessing she is not very old. A few months maybe??? Anyone know?

I would guess a few weeks or so, though it can't be for certain without knowing the to feeding schedule, temperatures, etc.. They reach their fully adult size between a year and 2 years. Do not feed the frog too much just to make it grow as this "power feeding" is not healthy for the frog. Good luck.

I have read so many different things about feeding it's not funny. How much do you suggest for such a little lady as she? I have read everything from twice a day to twice a week. And how much do you suggest at a feeding? She (Jasmine) is taking large crickets and any worms I have offered. I have grown very attached to her already and really want to give her what she needs. Thanks for the help!

I would feed her one or two small to medium sized food items once every one to two days. Make sure you do not overfeed. Each frog will metabolize food at a different rate based on the conditions it is kept in, so you might need to alter the schedule based on the overall appearance of the frog (if it appears skinny, feed more. If it appears too fat, cut back). Make sure the frog gets its calcium as well, as it is crucial receives an adequate amount at this stage to encourage proper growth.
