There is alot of hate on this forum. Alot of people think that one way is right and some people think the other is right and all that stuff. Here is all that you can do is state your ideas and leave it at that, no name calling(just immature) and all of that. I know that my typeing is terrible, I hope that it is understandable. I am way to used to aim terms (shorter terms). I wanted to make an anouncment! I am not Epreptile89 (KEY WORDS THERE!! AM NOT!) I wish that this place would become a nice place not some place just for asking a simple question someone doesnt get called someone they aren't. I have heard and seen old threads that you girls/guys have posted and they are so mean! Dont put each other down pick each other up! If someone is trying to figure something out they usually need to know a.s.a.p.
( as soon as possible) I know i have asked questions on here that i just got frustrated(s.p.) on and noone would awnser me...
The reason why I am writeing this thread is so that people would start being alot nicer to eachother, even if you have something terrible to say to the person dont say it. All that you will end up doing is just makeing things worse. I have been useing this forum for 2 weeks and i have already been called someone i am not! anyways I wish that people would be nicer to each other then be so mean!

P.S. I am so excited female is back gaining weight she layed her eggs i am trying to huradly(s.p.) get her fattened up (pinkies wat a life saver)awnser to this please to show me that you read this though !!

Please don't think that everyone here is a big meanie. There are a lot of wonderful people here and yes, sometimes things get a little ugly but that happens in every online community. And, those issues can all be avoided if people just post with some maturity.

The person that others said you were was a youngster who was especially irksome. He would call Marcia on the phone repeatedly, send her email repeatedly, post messages here repeatedly, all of which to ask the same questions repeatedly but then, would not take any advice given. Marcia even offered to send this kid a book, for free!

If you are really not that person, then welcome. BUT if you are, and just lying to try to get a clean slate with us again, go read a book instead. We are all tired.

i know that not everyone is mean and all but alot of people on here dont take newcomers well,atleat to me there weren't nice....

Just because someone is new to the hobby, does not make them an unknowledgeable person. Everyone has to start somewhere.
No one here is better than the next person.

I agree, there have been some things said that shouldnt have been. If you dont know the CORRECT answer, please dont post.
If its a life or death situation, let someone a bit more knowledgeable answer.

But please be kind to the newcomers...they may not have as much experience under their belt as some of you...but you were there once too.

I consider myself fairly new to the hobby (about 3 years now). I may not know everything, but im quite content with what I do know. And it really hurts my feelings when the more popular breeders get praised...when the newer ones get bashed (on other forums), b/c I still consider myself part of that group. I may not have as nice geckos as some of you, but I love each and every one of them the same, regardless of morph and value, and THATS what matters.

Be kind to each other, this is not a contest to see who can produce the nicest. Beautiful geckos are just a bonus to the hobby!

If you are not "ereptile", then how do you know that there was problem with him on this forum. Someone said they thought you were him, that doesn't mean they were saying anything bad. NO ONE SAID ANYTHING BAD ABOUT YOU.

You taking offense makes me think you are him even more.

lol..this is one weird forum...i usually scan the snake forums...but lotsa drama here.....although im new to this particular forum..i do have things to say...

after reading all ur posts about being nice and the such...i'm sure that many..well..if not all the people have read new posts...just that like some said...if we don't feel we are knowledgable enough...we are leaving it to the experts to respond..if the experts don't...then thats not our fault...we just don't want to further contribute to a problem we are not prepped to face...im from the hog forum..im not gonna go babbling on about how to keep geckos...im totally clueless...and i just read...and read...ive practically memorized some leopard gecko caresheets as im planning getting some...but hey..im biting my tongue cuz i in no means have the experience to back up all the stuff i say...even if they are right...

and about the erereptiles thing...wth is going on...who is he?

Ereptile (sp? eh) was this kid who posted the same question about a million times.. I believe about housing his female leo with a brand new male leo without quarantine, and of course she started acting sick.

Everyone told him exactly what he needed to do. But there was this one person who gave him some God-awful advice. Guess whose advice he chose to follow? 1 out of a million. *sigh*

I'm giving TLC the benefit of the doubt that he/she? is not the same person. TLC said that they're not, so, until proven otherwise, TLC is, under U.S.A. Law, innocent until proven guilty!

the thread where TLC was accused of being this reptile person. I Don't remember exactly which thread, but I do remember this happening.

This thread is supposed to be about everyone calming down with the shootings (not bullets from guns but bullets of rudeness and superiority coming from people's keyboards).

And yeah, I can remember Epreptile (whatever) - and ALL of the posts, which actually happened only a couple of weeks ago - right before I started seeing posts from TLC. So back off.

"If you don't have anything nice to say," knock off! (sorry, I just had to change the quote some.. I'm getting used to dealing with 14 & 15 year olds everyday!!!)

I know this is stupid to argue over, but.... you say you stopped seeing Ereptile89 right after you started seeing TLC. So it makes sense that Ereptile89 became TLC.

I don't know if you know this, but before he was Ereptile89 he was bblackmon19. Some of us figured that he changed his name and he admitted it. Then he got into trouble about posting some things about a geckos "hemipenis". And Ereptile was gone.

Here is the evidence that this is Ereptile89

1.He typed exactly the same as TLC.

2.He came here right after Ereptile89 was gone.

3.And if TLC is not Ereptile89. Why does he care so much and post a topic about.

4. No one said Ereptile89, we said Ereptile, how does he know about the 89. It is not metioned in old messages.

No one picks on new members, he just took sooo much offense. We simply said that we think he is Ereptile and then all this came up.

We watched the whole Ereptile drama unfold from start to end, and a lot of people-- intelligent, well meaning people, went right down to his level of maturity. We went off the boards for a bit and just chilled in the photo gallery and the Canada forums while this place went up in flames.

If Ereptile, and all of his 'known' incarnations have annoyed the bejezzus out of everyone-- why not simply ignore him? My husband and I did and will continue to do so until his level of maturity rises a few notches.

Obviously this kiddo has some social needs not being met, but is truly interested in keeping geckos. He's here for help, and it's up to people to either give him help or to not give him help.

It's sad to say, however, this is probably one case that will have to learn the hard way. We hope we are wrong on this, FYI.

Something had to be done about epreptile, his posts had been ignored long enough and nothing changed. So nobody was lowering themselves to his level, just trying to get rid of him. Had that not happened, he'd still be here making foolish posts and annoying the heck out of everybody.

I can actually READ what TLC types. EpReptile.. OMG I could just barely muddle my way through what he typed - and I translate essays in horrible handwriting (yeah, the freshmen thing again) all the time.

And yeah, it's silly to argue over this. I just had to point the whole comprehension issue. I mean, I got a headache reading those posts!

Either way, I'm sticking with the Innocent until Proven Guilty thing...

Perhaps TLC, whoever they may be, is upset that they're getting accused of someone who has such a negative history? Timing can be coincidence. I certainly wouldn't want to be accused of being that other person the second that I stepped into this forum!

Now this is getting really out of hand...
but i am still sticking with my opinion...
the reason...the first day "TLC" showed up he asked iF Cristina AKA "StinaUIUC" was still around,And yet she's not an oldie here... but he then called her "illini leos" like when he was EPreptile, so that was my first clue, my second was the fact that he typed like him for the first week and then mysteriously started typing alot better,there are many reasons why, such as proofreading,and changing "u"'s with "You''s" and so on.., then theres the fack that he used to be "Bblackmon" then got into some trouble and cleared him name by changing his handle to Epreptile, so theres a history of him changing a name when he gets into somthing, then theres the fact that, EPREPTILE IS GONE..and then TLC shows up, then theres the fact that when someone asked him were he lived he said ""East Peiora(sp?) now take the firt 2 letters from "east" and "peiora" and you have EP,
i can figure people out pretty darn well and my gut instict is that TLC is brandon...so theres my 2 cents

if he isnt, prove it, and until i am proven wrong my opinion stays
and if i am proven wrong, only then will i be sorry.

I have been on vacation the past month i have been home a total of three times. I was at California and Maine. The annoying thing about epreptile was his foolish posts and how he shot everyone's advice down. He'd then start accusing people of being wrong, stupid, you name it and had no basis for his accusations. I havnt seen any of this from TLC, so even if TLC is epreptile, maybe he's grown up a bit. Until i start seeing the same foolish posts, it just doesnt matter to me.

Oh, Matt, dont think this is a reply just to you or anything. The reply is under your message, but i just meant this to be to everyone. Your message just happened to be the last one i read and just hit the reply button.

WHICH I AM SORRY FOR, the post i mad stating that i thought TLC was him, was my opinion, and a strong feeling that this "TLC" character was him, if it is then this would be the 3rd time he changed his account handle because he got himself into trouble,
