Go as long and wide as you can afford. Height is not as important a dimension as length and width. Blue-Tongues can climb somewhat (and other animals can get in) so I would suggest a lid if your going with a tupperware storage container set-up. Enclosures made of wood or melemine (sp) will work as well. Plants and knick nacks are not needed but good hides are recommended. One can use logs. pvc pipes, secure rocks, subterranean boxes such as used for Tuataras (Recommended), etc. BTS are not always social animals so watch them closely if planning to house more than one.

I have my boy in a 40b.. and unless he gets abnormally large he is going to stay in it. One specimine should be ok in a tank like that, with lots of things to hide under and explore. Congrats to your asscent into the world of blue tongues!

ty for the info....I currently only own a leo...I have become very interested in all types of herps now....btw dang riiot you have ALOT of animals...I wish I had all the space and time for all those animals LOL....ahhh maybe when my kids get older and move out...I'll change their rooms into herp rooms LOL

I do have alot of 'kids', but i dont really have that much space. I live in an apartment with my fiance and another couple. lol...people just have to learn to love me and share my space with me and my babies. If you think this is alot, i used to have WAY more, but i lost my job...lol now they all eat better than i do. Good luck with your new baby!
