Hi all!
I am so excited! Today, I noticed my male A. garmani staring intently into one of the potted plants in the cage, and when I looked, I saw movement - the female was digging a hole! I watched from a distance because I didn't want to disturb her while laying. And about 10 minutes after laying, darned if the male didn't start displaying to her, and she accepted him for another mating!
I haven't had them long, and I figured they'd take longer to acclimate because they are supposed to be nervous and flighty. Well today's escapades took place while all new windows were being installed at my place - 4 or 5 different guys coming in and out with big windows, hammering, power tools, not too mention rain, and cool temps inside and out!
Maybe these guys are hardier than we thought. I hope I get babies!
