Thayeri with a bump....any ideas?

Krazy-K Apr 23, 2004 03:40 AM

I purchased this girl from a local pet store. As is....no real problems. She's a doll. Very nice, great eater, always active.
right around her cloaca she bulges out considerably. Then she gets REAL skinny till the tip of her tail.
Could bad breeding practices have caused this deformity? As I said, I bought her this way. "Proven Breeder" and that sort of thing.
Thought you guy's could help.

Krazy K,

It looks as though she has some fatty deposits from overfeeding / obesity. I have some adult females (snakes LOL!) and they continue to breed fine. I don't think it is from bad breeding practices but let's see what everyone else thinks.
