Don't expect any snail to last too long in a snapper tank, my snapper loves snails, and devours any that find their way into the tank...
I put a few snails from Petsmart into their tank per week, and the ones that hide soon get routed out by Sherman.,

Thanks Athos i just put the heater in the tankw ith the snails geting it ready for the ally's,And i hope they do eat the snails cause they havent wanted to eat in a couple of weeks BUT i think its cause i took the heater out of there tank ,and they are very very picky eaters.if i changes from reptomin to some other brand it will take them about 4 days to decide if its good enough to eat,,they are getting alittle under weight but im gonna load that tank full of fishies for them. i took some pics of them last night btu my camera odnt got a flash so there pretty dark i might try to post them sometime ones about 12 months and the other about 14 months and the 12 month one out grew the other one hes got a huge fat head.the bigger one i the size of a dollar bill, the other is alittle smaller.
thanks again.

well i got them in with the snails and the water is warm and ive never seen them so active in the whole life! and they are gobbling up the snails which i didnt think ally snappers would even bother to eat them, lol,,,im glad you said its ok to keep them in there.

they are searching for food so i put some worms in there but they fail to eat them i think they are alittle scared of them.
