In the process of switching Zeus and Ziggy over to the Reptarium i let Zeus lick some arpicot baby food from my finger. He didn't hesitate at all so this morning i did it again. He cleaned off my finger in no time...and he didn't run away from my hand (Ziggy however went into hiding).

His tongue also felt really cool. Seems a few of my geckos like the handfeeding thing...Currently i'm handfeeding my new AFT babies and one new leo (ok not so much hand feeding as tweezer feeding lol dropping worms in front of them).

Yep, my jumpiest crestie is also my only known male (I have 2 unsexed juvies and 2 females aldo), and the best way to get him to settle down is with a little baby food from my finger. I haven't tried apricot with him yet, but peaches and bananas definitely work!

When I first got my geckos (3 months ago) they would only eat if I hand fed them. It was too cute...and kind of disappointing that one (Vegas) will not eat from my fingers at all anymore, though C.J. will when she doesn't have her attitude

That is to cute. I love handfeeding. Problem is i have 17 geckos and all (but Ziggy and Bronx-male leo) will take from my hands. Its alot of work but i enjoy it

Cool stuff. I'm hoping that once they are in the new tank i'm getting that i can work more with them to calm both down to a point where i can hold them. All three of mine like apricot but i alternate that with peach and banana
