I would like to add plants to my beardie's aquarium. It has sand substrate, driftwood and rocks to sit and bask on. I would like to add a few suculents or cacti in their pots. Any thoughts on this?
Thanks.

They will get eaten.
I don't know the safe plants list, but I am sure someone out there has one

Of course make sure if you use any cacti it does not have spines
I know a few people who gave this a try, but once their dragons got older and bigger it was a complete waste. The dragons would trash & eat them in no time flat, and switching them week after week became more problems then they were worth. In my opinion and from experience dragons seem to appreciate the open cage space more then anything. It they go scratching the glass in the tantrum they sometimes do to get picked up or let out you can kiss any live plants in their path good-bye. I'd give them nice places to bask, and hide of course, but the rest of the cage open enough so they can find and eat easily without the insects hiding in the plants/pots etc. I personally chose against the idea because of the extra humidity/water I'd need to add to the habitat to keep the plants alive. Because of numerous reasons I decided against the use of any live plants, and in there place I used plastic, fabric, and fake vines which last forever to dress some of the cages up a bit.
