I am planning on buying a large amount of REGULAR mealworms. (anywhere from 30,000 to 100,000). I can't decide how many to get. The amount I decide to buy depends on how much room is needed for these amounts. I want to use most of them and have a few left over to breed. (I have about 300 baby leopard geckos to feed right now--plus lots of eggs still incubating). Anyone know how many cups or gallons 100,000 REGULAR mealworms would take (without bedding)? If not, anyone have an idea how much this many would weigh?
(I normally raise all my own crickets for them, but I can't quite raise enough currently--plus, I have always wanted to try mealworms on them to see if they work better/worse than crickets.)
Thanks,
Rodney
