I have a 48" x 24" cage and was wondering if two-1 year old female veilds would get along in the same cage or should I only put one?

A cage that size should house only one. Also, make sure the 2 can't see each other from their cages in the room...hang a piece of sheet or cheesecloth between the cages to block their view.
