I just caught 2 wild snails while I was cleaning outside. Are they okay to put in with my turtle ? I'm sure he will eat them given the chance.

Snails carry flukes. They need a host animal like a turtle to complete the cycle. If you want to keep snails in with your turtle you will need to keep these snails separate from your turtle. When they produce offspring those offspring will be free on any flukes. Get rid of the original wild snails and put the clean baby snails into your tank. There is a possibility your turtle will eat them but they will be free from flukes and a healthy treat for him.

What are those ? Okay I'll keep them away from my turtle. Thanks.

They are parasites that can do serious damage to your turtle.
