Why died it die?

mypen May 13, 2003 07:59 AM

My male veiled died today, but I do not know why. He was only a year and a half old, well fed, he had everything he needed. I suspected something was wrong a week ago when he started hiding. And then yesterday he started gagging and scratching his face.
Does anyone know what would kill a perfectly healthy chameleon?

The only way to know for sure is to have a vet do an autopsy. Most cham deaths result from long term nutritional problems and chronic stress. But, we don't have enough specific info from your post to tell much. Sorry you lost him!
