A few things got me thinking about what to feed. First, my aft's seem to really enjoy crickets but will also take mealworms and i've just made up a 2 week alternating feeding schedule for my crested geckos to provide them with some variety.

I've been looking at my leos and its occured to me that some of them just seem very complacent about mealworms. They are all eating just not with the same enthusiasm. I dont' know if that drops off with age but i was thinking about alternating their food choices and i'd like a few suggestions.

I'm still not a huge fan of crickets especially with the risk of parasites and illness but my insect supplier is wonderful so i'm sure i could try them again. Previous experiences with petstore crickets turned me off of them.

I was going to alternate mealworms, superworms, butterworms and maybe silkworms with a few waxworms now and then. Do you think this offers a variety while still providing enough substance? I dust with supplements every second day for adults (every day for gravid females and youngsters).

Should i leave one bowl of mealworms available at all times in case some of the girls don't like what else i'm feeding?

Thanks for any suggestions
