Whats his Tl-snt to vent and wieght. Santiago is 4'3 1/8" long ( should be another 2-3" longer. His tail bled twice as a little guy and it never went to a piont)snt to vent is 20 3/4 "- and he wieghs 17.82 lbs.he will be three years old this June. take care russ

What do you mean "his tail bled?" I ask because I have never heard the term and my baby dropped a couple inches from his tail a few months ago. Is this what you mean by bled?

whenmy tegu was a little guy (9-12" he whipt me twice with his tail and made his tail bleed at the tip. This happend twice .My vet told me when this happens The blood vessles are broke so the end does not grow out to a small piont.so im stating that my Male Chacoan should be 4 1/2' long. Thanks Russ

Hi Russ,

Tegan is 17 1/2" STV the rest is all tail I won't know the weight until I get him into the vet. He is a pretty fat Tegu though!
