Does this sound like a bad idea?!?!?

I am having trouble with keeping in the humidity in my blood's tank. Right now she is in a 55gal aquarium (i'm saving for a Vision tank soon) and her eyes have little dents in them and I heard it's because she doesnt have enough humidity in there. I want to know if I line the inside of her tankwalls with plastic wrap, will that help keep in the humidity??? Because I know that glass does nothing for humidity.
This is just until I can afford a Vision tank.

Is you are using an aquarium. It is almost impossible to maintain humidity in one of those... believe me, I've tried in vain. Get an undercage heat pad and a sterelite sweater box, about $5 poke some holes in the sterelite lay down some newspaper and bodda-boom bodda-bing you have the perfect blood outfit. My blood likes to soak, hence the reason the newspaper is all wet. You don't want to keep the nrespaper all wet, I frequently change mine. Make sure you do not touch the sterelite container and the heat pad as the container can melt. Place the container about an inch ot .5 in above the heat pad. Make sure you keep a thermostat DIRECTLY on top of where the heat pad is.
Good luck and e-mail of you have any questions. P.S. I wouldn't waste money on a vision cage, I'd just use one of these.

You will want to get a hygrometer. 65-75% humidity seems to be the correct range for these guys, and make sure your background temps are no lower than 82 degrees. These guys like it nice and warm, a hotspot of 89-92 also.

That sounds good....but my blood is about 3 feet long...do they sell plastic bins/boxes big enough for an adult blood?

42 3/4"L x 22"W x 18"H
These are the measurments for the largest Sterilite bin I can find. Will this be good enough for an adult blood?

It helps to line the top of the lid with plastic wrap, if you cover it about 90% of the way it will keep decent humidity if you mist daily.
