I have a tropical aquarium and last year I introduced a couple of newts, having been told that they would be happy in such a place.
For the first 10 weeks or so, they spent most of their time in the water eating bloodworms.
Then one day as if my decret, they climbed up onto my filter and have been there ever since.
At first, I thought they were hibernating but now it's April and 27°c in my aquarium.
They are awake and react to my presence
Are they ok.
Please don't ask me the names of them. I can hardly rememberwhat their bellies looked liked but I'd say red and black.
