I'm having trouble feeding my new hognose snakes. I put together a nice little collection of 2.1 100% 0.1 66% het for albino but I'm trouble getting them to eat. They are all supposed to be eating f/t pinks and that's what I've been trying to feed them and they won't eat. I thaw them out to about room temp and wave them in front of the snake. What else should I be doing or what am I doing wrong?

How long have you had them? It is normal for herps to not feed while adjusting to their new surroundings. Hogs especially can be tricky sometimes.

Instead of waving the pinkies in front of them, put each snake in a seperate small container (deli cup, plasitic shoe box, etc.) with a pinkie and leave them alone for a while. It can also help if you put them someplace dark. If you are using f/t pinkies, you don't want to leave them in there for more than a couple hours because they might decompose too much. Just remember that hognoses often go off feed and it is no reason to worry too much.

I've tried that already. Two of them I've had for about a month and the other two I just received about 2-3 days ago. should I just be a little more patient.

time is the best thing. they can go for a couple months before you need to be concerned. just try every 4 to 5 days . good luck.
