Any way to unlock snakes?

tourmalinequeen Apr 24, 2004 09:54 AM

Had a mismatch breeding today, one of my albinos bred with the "tease" snow I had in there, she was there to get him going so I could slip my honduran in at the right time, before I knew it , they'd locked up! Once locked up, is there any way to get them apart without causing injury? I just let them go but it wasn't what was planned or wanted.

I should think not. Simply moving around too much can cause the female damage and bleeding.
One person posted a truly horrible and depressing pic a short while back...their female had been torn during breeding, and she bled to death. Blood all over the cage. I wouldn't think of messing with them while they were locked.
