Hey,
The weather's warmin' up again, you know what that means. IT'S HERPIN' TIME. I've got some crested gecko eggs that went all the way and developed, but the babies were dead, any clues.
I saw a bunch of horned lizards near my house acouple of weeks ago. Some of them were almost orange, very nice to see. Lots of other lizards but no snakes. Hopefully no housing tracts will go in for a while. "Habitat loss"

Do you live in So. Cal? If so what part? I have never seen a horned lizard in the wild. I've only seen the photos.

I go to arizona frequently and look for what ever I can find and still cant find a horned lizard. The arizona locals tell me they are everwhere. Maybe I would have better luck finding one here in los angeles, we seem to have everything else.

Happy herpin

Yes I live in So Ca. I've seen Horned lizards in many areas of riverside county. Just gotta be in the right place at the right time. One day you see them annd maybe the next you won't. Good luck, keep your eyes open especially near ant mounds.
