shedding?

caietaro Apr 24, 2004 11:50 AM

I've had my new baby male borneo STP for about two weeks. At the beginning of this week (sunday or monday) his eyes went blue like he was going into a shed. They stayed that way for a couple days and then a day or two ago they went back to normal but he never shed. His skin feels like he's still going to shed but his eyes are clear. Anyone know whats going on here? Cause I sure dont!

He should shed within the next few days. After its eyes clear up, it can take anywhere from a couple to several days for a snake to shed.

Hang in there! It's all good.

Hey,
Sounds like an impending shed to me too, I would bump up the humidity by dropping a damp terry cloth towel into its cage. That will not only help to increase the humidity to the cage, but also, help it to shed by giving it something to rub against.

Be patient!
