Do a search on http://www.google.com they also need a 40-55gl tank.

Its definitely not that species. I agree that its definitely either Ameiva spec or Cnemidophorus spec. To say, which genus, look at theri arms. I attach a Pic which describes the differences in enlarged front arm scales between Ameiva and Cnemidophorus.
From the Pic the animal may be as well C. motague, as A. chaitzhami or another.
Do you have a better Pic?

BTW: green Ameivas aka Ameiva ameiva are very active runners and diggers, which reach a total lenght of 20".
I kept a trio in a 400 (four hundred) gallon tank and always hat the strong impression that this tank was significantly too small for them. So 40-45 g? Torture!

Sorry, was too quick and saw too much blue in the pics on my old laptop. Having a closer look at the pics, it may be in fact an adult male Ameiva ameiva. But a nicer laterla view would help in identification.
