Question about treating scale rot

soma215 Apr 24, 2004 01:33 PM

I just discovered that one of my Kings and one of my Corns are showing signs of scale rot. The last time this happened a few years back, I remember treating w/ Betadine diluted in water, but I can't remember the dilution ratio. If someone could refresh my memory, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The odd thing about this scale rot is that it's starting on the tops of their heads, rather than their bellies. Has anybody else seen this?

I have used betadine full strength before with no adverse reactions...but diluteing in half would probably be better. Also, remember that prevention is the best cure!
Good luck with that
