Just wondering about albno.

smith710 Apr 24, 2004 06:39 PM

I have an albino and a normal leopard gecko. My albino is older but is still smaller. I talked to a pet store person and they said that albino's tend to be smaller because they aren't so much aggressive eaters. He said most albinos are smaller than normals. Is this true??
Thanks

Of my three (normal, patternless, and albino) my albino is the biggest and by far the most aggressive eater. I dont know about the size/eating thing, but my experience has been the opposite.

I know on Tremper's site (leopardgecko.com) he says they are natually tame. I'm pretty sure he was referring to the giants though. My baby albinos aren't go jumpy for food like my other ones are. Maybe your albino is being bullied... you might want to seperate it.
