I have a blind snake! O_O! ( Ramphotyphlops)

I was in my backyard, looking for some food for my tiger salamander, when i saw three of the most odd looking worms i've ever seen two black and one gray... i only got to grab one of them (the gray one) and it bited me! then i thought! worms don't bite!... i put it in a small container and then i saw a tonge!!! a bifid one! demn! i ran here as fast as i could and i saw what i had in my hands.... A BLIND SNAKE! i've heard that the best food for them are termits... do ants larvae works as well? what can you tell me about this amazing specie??? i'm just shoked! my own backyard!!!!!

From what I could find Blind Snakes don't bite, but I guess there will always be some exceptions. They eat earthworms, termites, termite larvae, termite eggs, ants, ant eggs and larvae, small soft insects and slugs.
