Bored, Story/Complaint time

I used to work in a pet store and right now I am going to complain about the dorks you get coming into pet stores. Every now and then you get people who come in and want to look cool and get attention but they do not know the snake trade for crap so they come into the store and go to the reptile section and ask the girl working with you where you can get an anaconda. What they want to hear is a shocked petstore employee that will tell them how crazy they are and give them attention. I say, sir,(always some dumb guy) if you don't know how to get an anaconda and are comeing in and asking college girls in petco how to get one, then you don't need one. They are the most difficult snake I have ever kept and I guarantee I have kept more snakes than anyone you know. Then you tell them there is more than one species and lots of people have both (not e. deschauenseii or e. beniensis) and they are like oh wow, im an idot and will think twice before trying to look cool on a subject I know nothing about. Then there is a guy you ask what he is feeding the mice he is buying to. He says burm or whatever and he asks what you have...you go down the list and hit green anaconda...customer response..I want to get a "brown anaconda"...you say, well sir there is no such thing as a "brown anaconda" but the green anaconda can look brown so that must be what he means...No, I mean the brown anaconda, they get 30 feet and you should look them up. These are 2 examples but this crap happens all the time...both species of annoying guys will hopefully join dfr's list of Darwin award winners.
