Dented eyecap...

athos_76 Apr 24, 2004 10:45 PM

Hey all, Kimba just was crawling around and she somehow dented an eyecap. Its just got a little tiny ding in it, and she doesnt appear to be in pain... Should I go seek a vet or just wait till she sheds?

Is it about time to start a shed cycle, or did she just finish shedding? You may want to check the humidity in her enclosure.

The humidity is about 55%-60% right now. I havent been able to keep it up any higher in the aquarium. But I just checked on her today, and its back to normal. I'm not sure if she dented it during her escape or while trashing her cage on the recapture... But shes okay now...

I would wait till she sheds the dent is due to lack of humidity in the enclosure this should go away but if you dont keep enough humidity she might get another dent in her eye
