OK, I feel dumb. I have done my research and gone to the sites that show the little beardie bottoms and their differences but when I look, my beardies all seem the same. Maybe they are- the pet store supposedly sold me 2 juvenile females and a male/female pair but their little butts look all about the same to me. On the larger pair, I notice what must be femoral pores on both of them, larger on the supposed 'male', but when I put the two together they fight and both display black beards.
Perhaps I just have 4 males, certainly these would be easier for a pet store to come by; or perhaps I just don't know what I am looking at.
I am hoping to attend a local reptile show in a few weeks where there may be experienced folks who can actually show me the differences on a live lizard, but until then if any of y'all have any tips or suggestions I would be grateful.

It's usually pretty difficult to tell until they are at least a couple months old. If they are older you can try lifting their tails up towards their heads and looking at the bases of their tails. The males will have two bulges running along the tail base. One on each side. The females will have one in the middle. You can also take some pics and post them on here for some help in trying to determine.

Not all BDs sex easily. Some can even fool experienced breeders. It is more difficult to tell with juvies than with adults. Try placing the animal on your open hand palm up. Then with the other hand lift the tail and bend it towards the head but not to far. With the tail pulled forward, look for the hemipene bulges on either side of the base of the tail. If they have 2 bulges they are boys if not they may be girls or you may not be able to see them yet. Thin tails make it harder to tell.
