I cleaned out my roach colonies last weekend, sterilized their containers and put in fresh substrate. The only thing that was different that I've never done before was give them a little sweet potato that I normally would have fed to my redworms. One week later there are little white mite-like bugs everywhere--in the containers, on the walls, on the shelves and in one of my terrariums. Could they have come from the potato? Is there any way to get rid of them without losing all of my roaches--they're on them too?
